| Understanding Auto Immune Disorders/Diseases |
Autoimmune disorders are conditions in which a person's immune system attacks the body's own cells causing tissue distruction. This may be restricted to certain organs (e.g. thyroditis) or involve tissue in different places (e.g. Goodpasture's disease which may affect the basement membrane in both the lungs and the kidneys).
The treatment of autoimmune diseases is typically with immunosuppresent - medication which decreases immune response.
A substantial minority of the population suffers from these diseases, which are chronic, dibilitating, and life-threatening.
There are more than eighty diseases causes by autoimmunity. It has been estimated that autoimmune diseases are among the ten leading causes of death in women in all age groups up to 65 years.
Autoimmune disorders fall into two general types: >systemic autoimmune disease - those that damage many organs >localized - Where a single organ or tissue is damaged by the autoimmune process Some of the most common types of autoimmune disorders include: A. Systemic Autoimmune Diseases: 1. Rheumatoid Arthritis (RA) and Juvenile RA (JRA) (joints, less commonly lunds & skin) 2. Lupus [Systemic Lupus Erythematosus] (skin, joints, kidney, heart, brain, red blood celss, other) 3. Sclrodema (skin, intestine, less commonly lung) 4. Sjogren's syndrome (salivary glands, tear glands, joints) 5. Goodpasture's syndrome (lungs, kidneys) 6. Wegener's granulomtosis (Blood vessels, sinuses, lungs, kidneys) 7. Polymyalgia Rhumatica (Large Muscle Groups) 8. Guilain-barre syndrome (nervous system) 9. Chronic Fatique Immune Dysfunction (CFIDS) (Chronic Inflammatory Illness)
B. Localized Autoimmune Diseases include: 1. Psoriasis (chronic disease of the skin) 2. Type 1 Diabetes Mellitus (pancreas islets) 3. Graves Disease (Thyroid) 4. Celiac Disease, Crohn's Disease, Ulcerated Colitis (GI Tract) 5. Multiple Sclerosis 6. Addison's Disease (Adrenal) 7. Primary Biliary Cirrhoses, Sclerosing Cholangitis, Automimmune Hepatitis (Liver) 8. Temporal Arthritis / Giant Cell Arthritis (Arteries of the Head & Neck) 9. Rheumatic Fever (Throat Infection)

My Life GM1 Products Help To STOP Auto Immune Diseases
The scientists from operation BIM with 31 years of research and experience in the field, combined with modern knowledge of bio-molecules has shown that GM1 modulates the immune system.
This immuneomodulation results from the increase of Interluken-2, the biomoleclues that boost the body's immune system, by a moderate level that does not produce negative side affects.
At the same time, it also decreases the level of Interluken-1, the biomolclues that cause autoimmune diseases.

| How About Other Mangosteen Products That Are Made With The Peel? |
Other Mangosteen-based products in the market contain "unprocessed mangosteen peel."
From the scientific prospective, these products were easily made but rather crude because unprocessed Mangosteen peel IS UN-EDIBLE, and should be discarded as waste.
It is a scientific fact that Mangosteen peel contains a high ammount of TANNIN, which can cause constipation, increase toxcity in the liver and can cause cancer in the cheek and the intestine. The Mangosteen peel is also likely to be contaminated with pesticides used during the growing process.
NOTE: Over consumption of Mangosteen juices made with peel can cause side effects.
